You play a very special part in your child's education...I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. If you have questions or concerns about your child's grades or other matters that may arise, please contact the school and leave me a message with Mrs. Walker. I will return your call promptly. My conference is everyday from 2:12-3:00. Please feel free to come by. Throughout the year we will have conferences regarding your child's progress and upcoming STAAR tests in April. I look forward to working with each of you.

Please remember to have your Home Folder signed every night. It is important to understand that this is your responsibility to get it to your parents for their signature and so that they will see how you are doing in all of your subjects. Remember to check your homework sheet each night to make sure you have completed everything. Be prepared for the next day with a smile and a learning attitude. We look forward to seeing you each day. You are very special to us!

 

3rd Grade & 3rd-5th ELAR Writing
 

I am the 3rd Grade Home room teacher, as well as the English, Language Arts, and Writing Teacher for 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Leveled Readers will be sent home every week. Each child is expected to read this book two times during the week and return it on Fridays (refer to paper in home folder). Spelling and Reading tests will be every Friday. 


Students are also encouraged to bring a healthy snack for the afternoon (no cokes, chips, or anything messy).
